Zwickert
We are Christian and Heather
Zwickert, proud parent's to daughter,
Avery (4) and son, Collin (3).  As a
result of an injury at birth Collin lives
with severe spastic quadriplegic
cerebral palsy.  Since his birth we have been introduced to the world of people living with
special needs.  We have found comfort and assistance through other parents of children with
special needs and organizations such as the United Cerebral Palsy of Delaware. Along with
the Stoessels,  we have formed the UCP of Delaware Parent Support Group in order to give
back to the organization that has helped guide us through the journey of having a child with
special needs and to raise awareness in the community.

Nicole and Dave Stoessel
Our names are David and Nicole
Stoessel and in 2004 our lives were
changed forever with the arrival of our
daughter Jessica.  She has brought
tremendous joy to our lives as well as
open our eyes to the world of living
with special needs.  By co-coordinating
the Lacrosse for Cerebral Palsy
Tournament we hope to bring more
awareness for individuals and families who face the everyday challenge of living with a
disability.  We also hope to raise funds for United Cerebral Palsy of Delaware so that they may
continue to provide much needed programs and services.
