Christian Zwickert, Camp Director
Christian Zwickert enters his sixth season as head men’s lacrosse coach at Wesley College.
Zwickert came from Drexel University where he served as an offensive assistant, special teams, extra
man offense and goalkeeper coach. Zwickert was awarded the PAC Coach of the year honor in 2004
for his efforts and helped lead Wesley to an 8-6 overall and 5-1 conference record in 2005. Coach
Zwickert is coming of the team's most successful season under his tutelage winning 10 games in
2006.
Zwickert began his coaching career at the high school level in Delaware at Delcastle Technical High
School as an assistant in 1995 and 1996 and was promoted to head coach for the 1997 and 1998
seasons leading the team to their first winning seasons with 10-4 and 9-7 records. Zwickert then moved on to
Division 1 Providence College where he was responsible for assisting both on offense and defense and as goalkeeper coach in
1999. He also served as South Region recruiting coordinator for the Friars.
A 1990 graduate of Salesianum School in Wilmington, DE, he returned to his high
school Alma Mater as head coach in 2000 and guided Salesianum to a 3rd place
regular season finish. Returning to the Division 1 ranks in 2001, Zwickert joined
Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH as an offensive assistant. In 2002, he moved
on to Franklin & Marshall College where he served as head assistant, offensive
coordinator, goalkeeper coach and recruiting coordinator.
In addition to his high school and college coaching, Zwickert also brings
international experience. In 2001, he was named head coach of the German
National Lacrosse Team for the European Championships in Cardiff, Wales.
As head coach, he led Germany to a perfect 6-0 record defeating defending European Champions, England, twice to capture
Germany’s first European Cup trophy and Gold Medal. Prior to serving as head coach, Zwickert ran midfield for Germany in the
1998 World Games in Baltimore, 1999 European Championships in Manchester, England and 2000 European Championships
in Glasgow, Scotland. In 1999, Zwickert received Most Valuable Player honors as an attackman versus England in the 1999
Championship game.

Jay Dyer
Head Strength & Conditioning Coach
Johns Hopkins Men's Lacrosse
Coach Dyer graduated from the University of Delaware with
a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and is Certified
Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National
Strength and Conditioning Association.
Dyer is entering his seventh year as the strength and
conditioning coach for the Johns Hopkins men's lacrosse
team training the Blue Jays to a National Championship in
2005 and 2007. He is also employed by Union Memorial
Sports Medicine as the director of its Sports Performance
Program. He has trained numerous All-County, All-Metro
and Division I, II and III athletes throughout Maryland, along
with athletes from the National Football League, Major
League Baseball, National Lacrosse League and Major
League Lacrosse.
Coach Dyer speaks to campers, guest high school coaches and parents about strength training, conditioning and nutrition during a question and answer session. Afterwards, campers were placed through a "Dynamic Warm-up" that he uses for the Hopkins Lacrosse Program.

Randy Chambers enters his second season as Wesley Men’
s Lacrosse Team Chaplain. Chambers graduated from
Delaware State University and spent the last eight years with
MBNA, leaving a senior level management position to serve
with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Randy is
passionate about positively influencing the lives of coaches
and athletes.
Chambers began his coaching career after graduating from
Dover High School in 1984. He assisted Dover High School
Basketball for 10 years before starting a career in Corporate
America. He played competitive softball for a number of years
on nationally ranked teams.
Chambers received the Outstanding Young Man of America
Award in 1997 for his community efforts while at DSU. While
an Assistant Vice President at MBNA, Chambers received the
America’s Promise Award in 2002. Gaining exposure to FCA
while attending a FCA Lacrosse (www.fcalax.org) banquet,
Chambers realigned his contribution to non-profit
organizations to benefit FCA.
During his lifetime, Randy’s character has been shaped
through the death’s of his father, his brother and his best
friend (Jimmy Raub-1995 Wesley graduate). Prior to
receiving the calling to the ministry, Randy saw FCA as
something that was missing from his childhood and as a
foundational opportunity for his sons (William 3, Edward 1).
Coach Chambers, his wife Melissa and their sons reside in
Camden DE.
