CHRISTIAN ZWICKERT, High School Boys Director (Full Bio)
Current Head Coach - Immaculata University (PA) & Polish National Team.
Former Head Coach at Wesley College, German National Team and 3 High School Programs. Former
Assistant at Drexel University, Dartmouth College, Providence College and Franklin & Marshall College. Coach Zwickert
will be coaching specialty positions (goalkeepers and face-off) while overseeing the program development on both offense,
defense and special teams play.
KEVIN DEMPSEY, Youth Boys and Girls Director (Full Bio)
A New York native, Kevin J. Dempsey enters his 19th season as President & CEO and coach of the Silverbacks Youth
Lacrosse Association (formerly Newark Youth Lacrosse). Dempsey got his start in Lacrosse while on Long Island assistant
coaching with the Huntington Boys Club where his son Kevin Michael Dempsey played his youth lacrosse. Through a job
transfer taking Dempsey to Delaware, he became actively involved in the Delaware Youth Lacrosse Association serving as
it's first President from 1993 to 1996. He currently serves as Treasurer of the DYLA, a position he has held since 2007.
MARK REYNOLDS - Defense Coach
Coach Reynolds was a former defenseman for Caesar Rodney and Salisbury University. Reynolds enters his 4th year
with the Silverbacks.
ADAM STARRETT - Defense and Defensive Midfield Coach
Coach Starrett was a former attackman at St. Mark's. Converted to Midfield at Wesley College, Starrett was a
4 year starter for the Wolverines. Coach Starrett enters his 4th year coaching for the Silverbacks.
T. FERRY - Attack and Midfield Coach
Coach Ferry enters his 3rd year for the Silverbacks. Ferry will be assisting with the offensive and face-off
units. A graduate of the Tatnall School, Coach Ferry finished his college playing career this season at
Hofstra University.
SHAYNE LYNCH - Defensive Midfield Coach
Coach Lynch is an Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Washington College in Chestertown, MD. Lynch,
a captain his senior year, was a 4 year starting defensive midfielder at Wesley College.
DAN ABRAMS - Midfield / Defense Coach
Coach Abrams enters his 3rd season coaching Silverbacks. A former Delaware High School player at Dover, Coach
Abrams played 4 years at Goucher College in Baltimore, MD. After graduation, Abrams spent 2 years as an Assistant Coach
at Farleigh-Dickinson College in NJ.
NICK PISACANO - Midfield Coach
Coach Pisacano was a 4 year starter at Midfield for Wesley College. Pisacano, entering his 3rd season with the
Silverbacks, was a 4x All Conference Player and lead the Wolverines as a captain for 3 season.
JOE TREZZA - Attack Coach
Coach Trezza enters his second season with the Silverbacks. Trezza was a 4 year starter at Attack for Wesley College.
DAN LANTZ - Defense Coach
Coach Lantz will be a 1st year coach this Summer. Lantz, a 4 year starter at Charter School of Wilmington and a
Silverbacks Alum, plays at University of Virginia and was a member of the 2011 Division National Championship team.
LUKE KELLY - Defense Coach
Coach Kelly will be a 1st year coach this Summer. Kelly, a 4 year starter at Charter School of Wilmington and Silverbacks
Alum, now plays at Cornell University.
BRANDON McGOVERN - Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach
Owner of Peak Performance of Delaware and former lacrosse player, Coach McGovern will help in creating the "well
rounded" Silverbacks Lacrosse player coaching speed, agility, strength and conditioning.
