2010 PLAYER CLINIC & SUMMER TRYOUTS

CLINIC & TRYOUT INFORMATION

Who: High School age boys

When: Sunday, February 28 for Rising Jr. - 2010 Sr.'s
12-2 pm (Clinic)
2-3 pm (Tryouts)

           Some Walk-ups will be taken.

The CLINIC and TRYOUTS are on!


Where: RED LION CHRISTIAN ACADEMY (field turf)

Cost: $30.00 to attend clinic

Clinics will consist of building from "college level" skill
technique development by position into half-field
offensive and defensive team strategies and concepts
and will include half, 3/4 and full field unsettled
situations.

Clinics will be taught by program coaches, college
players and area college coaches!

After clinics, players will be invited to stay for 2010
SILVERBACKS Lacrosse Team tryouts to test their
new techniques and strategies in a full-field game.

PROGRAM INFORMATION
22-25 players will make one VARSITY and one JV Level
travel team to play in at least 3 tournaments.  

All new players will receive game shorts, a reversible
team jersey, t-shirt &
team helmet.

New Player Tuition Fee = $540.00*
Return Player Tuition Fee = $365.00*
*fee does NOT include tournament fees

SUMMER SCHEDULE (tentative)
Practices are expected to be 2 times per week
(Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 6:30-8:00 pm

June 10                 Practice Starts

June 24                Ultimate Performance (V only)
July 3                    Hogan's Hero (JV only)
July 10-11            Top Lax (JV only)
July 9-11              Tri-State Tournament (V only)
July 16-18            Aloha Tournament (JV only)
July 25-28            Hotbeds (V only)                  


Each practice will consist of "college" level techniques and
game strategies to help players play as a team at recruiting
tournaments which will help them showcase their athleticism
and ability in front of D1, D2, D3 and NJCAA college coaches.  
Players are expected to attend practice but it is not
mandatory.  
Play time will be equal for all participants
regardless of practice attendance/performance.
